Past, Present, Future.
SummaryOh-vintage was brought from one.com on the 17th November 2007. It's been successful for it's graphics and tutorials, and is always setting targets to make it improve. This site is based around the vistors, and is deadcated to them, and is always happy to take any requests. Oh-vintage features my personal blog of my life and what is going on, it also contains my site news. Everything on oh-vintage is made by myself, Sophie, unless stated other wize, and would appricate if you use any of my work to not remove my link, or if there isn't a link to credit me.
Past
Oh-vintage first started at the dreaded horror of piczo. The first ever piczo site I made was called "pinkkisses16", it was a personal site & is now deleted. Soon after I closed that site, I made another piczo, then another, then another, but every time I made a new piczo my skills got better and better. So finally, I made my last piczo site, "xx--graphic-addicted", the name was soon changed to "-xGenuine", after about 1 year on piczo, I sooner got bored and I started to find it too easy, so a freewebs site was made, this was a little challenge I set myself. I worked on it, and in 2 days it was open, I was proud of myself and the site I've just made, Then during my time on freewebs my whole webmaking skills became advanced, my graphics were better then ever, and I didnt want to give up on anything, I got some guestbook comments from domains asking to host me or asking why I wasn't hosted yet, I asked the same question to myself, so I looked at my site at asked myself "should I be wasting this on freewebs?", so I looked around some domains and found "Desiredsuperstar.com" the owner was Kelly, she sounded really nice and I loved her site and her site name, so I applied for her to host me, I sooner got an e-mail back saying I got accepted, I was so happy, and got on with making my hosted site, She was my host for about 2-3 months, then she told me some news that her site was closing in feburary since she had no time to do it anymore. So my site moved again to where it stands now, I thought to myself, shall I get hosted again or shall I buy a domain.
Present
I now currently stand with a domain in my hands, Oh-vintage, It was brought from "one.com", on the 19th November 2007. The name took me some time to think of, I thought of a very long list of name ideal for my domain, I soon found out that some names "Wheren't me" or "already used". So I carried on with looking for a name, then I thought of the word "vintage" it's a lovely word and when I first heard of it I fell in love, so I wanted "_____ Vintage", this was tricky, but then it struck me like a bolt of lightening. "Oh-Vintage", I fell in love all over again, it was perfect, and it wasn't taken!
Future
I don't know where this "webmaking career" will take me, but this might take me far somewhere in life, I don't know how. I do hope to be an insperation to my vistitors and I hope to be one of your sources for your very own site. Where ever this site takes me I do hope that all my vistors treat my site with respect like I'll do with theres. I love to read your comments and I'll try my best to reply and comment on your site too. My site is aimed at the vistors and I will be making anything my vitsors need to put on my site, so feel free to request, however I don't make anything for other peoples sites.

Oh [o] - used as an expression of surprise, pain, disapprobation, etc.
Vintage [vin-tij] - old-fashioned or obsolete.
